  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred
  • Bartending school preferred
  • Accurate cash handling skills required

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID in compliance with age requirements for alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • Request additional products or restock as needed
  • Responsible for the issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down bar equipment and organizing cooler as required
