Hotel Leo is a historic and thoughtfully restored hotel located in the heart of downtown Bellingham. Recognized on both the National and Local Historic Registry, Hotel Leo successfully blends modern comfort with classic style, offering guests a unique combination of hotel lodging and apartment residences alongside lively common spaces. This blend of tradition and contemporary amenities creates a warm, inviting atmosphere where guests can experience the highest standards of hospitality and distinctive charm. As part of the Columbia Hospitality portfolio, Hotel Leo upholds a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
We are currently seeking an On-Call Bartender who is passionate about creating connections and crafting inspired cocktails. This role requires an individual who takes pride in preparing and serving a broad range of beverages, creating memorable experiences for guests within an expertly maintained environment. You will be the welcoming personality that impresses guests through your beverage expertise and polished techniques, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of Hotel Leo. Beyond cocktail preparation, you will operate computerized Point of Sale systems, manage cash handling accurately, and comply fully with applicable liquor laws and regulations. A key aspect of this position is the ability to adapt and deliver service excellence with charm and professionalism, making every guest feel valued and welcomed.
As an On-Call Bartender, you will benefit from a competitive hourly pay rate starting at $19.13, with eligibility for tips and tip pooling. Owners at Hotel Leo enjoy the advantage of daily pay options, enabling you to "Make any day payday." Our Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay policies emphasize the importance of work-life balance. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and a 401K plan, alongside HSA and FSA plans with employer contributions. We pride ourselves on a values-based culture, supporting diversity and fresh perspectives through initiatives such as Culture Add and the OMGLIFE program. Employee perks extend to discounted lodging, dining, spa treatments, golf, retail, and travel opportunities, creating an enriching work environment where you can thrive personally and professionally.
Columbia Hospitality is a people-first organization that embodies values such as accountability, creativity, enthusiasm, honesty, inclusion, and respect. Our team is tight-knit and values-driven, fostering an environment where members support each other and bring open hearts and inclusive mindsets to work every day. We believe that the experiences we create for guests and colleagues alike are driven by how we make people feel — a principle inspired by Maya Angelou’s quote, "People never forget how you made them feel." Joining the Hotel Leo team means being part of a dynamic culture that values your growth, contributions, and individuality, setting the stage for an exciting career in hospitality.
