The current opportunity at The Kendall Hotel is for a highly motivated Bartender who will play a pivotal role in delivering memorable hospitality experiences. This position requires a customer-focused individual adept at building genuine and personable connections with guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. The Bartender must be skilled in preparing perfect beverages efficiently and accurately while engaging warmly with guests. Responsibilities include greeting guests, maintaining an organized bar setup, guiding guests through the beverage menu with descriptive selling techniques, collaborating with restaurant and kitchen staff, handling guest concerns professionally, and ensuring timely billing. The role also involves managing inventory, maintaining freshness of garnishes, practicing portion control, and handling cash and point-of-sale transactions securely.

Successful candidates will bring a combination of bartending experience, knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques, and familiarity with POS systems. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility for varied shifts including nights and weekends, and an engaging personality are essential traits. Experience in high-volume or high-end venues, wine and beer knowledge, and additional certifications like first aid are advantageous but not mandatory.
