  • prior catering experience preferred

Job Duties

  • prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
  • adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • sets up assigned bars and stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
  • maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables
  • greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • takes and processes orders for drinks while practicing prudent portion control
  • checks guests for proper identification
  • detects and acts upon guest inebriation
  • receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges and records transactions
  • locks up beverage products, food, equipment, and cash drops securely
  • performs general cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards
  • arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display
  • washes and sterilizes stemware
