This job opening is for an on-call Bartender role located at Porsche - One Porsche Drive, Atlanta, GA. The position requires prior bartending experience and prefers candidates with catering experience. The schedule demands open availability as the position is on-call, offering flexibility but also requiring readiness to work as needed. The pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. In this role, the selected candidate will prepare and serve beverages in the bar area, adhering strictly to state, federal, and corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages. Bartenders at Bon Appetit are responsible not only for mixing and presenting drinks according to standard recipes but also for maintaining high standards of customer service, stock management, cleanliness, and overall bar organization.

The bartender will engage with guests by greeting them courteously, verifying identification to comply with alcohol laws, and managing cash transactions accurately. Further responsibilities include preparing fresh garnishes, juices, and perishable ingredients needed for drinks, maintaining an attractive display behind the bar, and ensuring a safe, sanitary working environment. Job Duties

  • prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
  • adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • sets up assigned bars and stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
  • maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables
  • greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • takes and processes orders for drinks while practicing prudent portion control
  • checks guests for proper identification
  • detects and acts upon guest inebriation
  • receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges and records transactions
  • locks up beverage products, food, equipment, and cash drops securely
  • performs general cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards
  • arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display
  • washes and sterilizes stemware
