SodexoMagic is a dynamic and reputable joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and SodexoMagic, recognized as a certified minority company. The organization is committed to offering high-quality food, facilities management, and integrated services across various sectors including corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities, and aviation lounges. This strategic alliance enables SodexoMagic to provide innovative and tailored solutions to its clients while actively engaging with local communities to foster growth and sustainability. Through the combination of Magic Johnson Enterprises' visionary leadership and SodexoMagic's operational excellence, the company has established itself as a leader in delivering creative service solutions that prioritize client satisfaction and community development.
As a part-time Bartender Non-Tipped at SodexoMagic, located at SYNCHRONY FINANCIAL UPA in Stamford, you will be an essential member of a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional customer service within an afternoon and evening shift framework. This role offers a competitive pay range of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the position in ensuring customer satisfaction and seamless bar operations. The bartender's primary responsibility is to expertly mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests promptly and efficiently, often coordinating with wait staff to guarantee that service standards are met without waste. This position requires the capability to work cooperatively with other team members, demonstrating friendliness, tact, and attentiveness to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
In this role, bartenders must also maintain their assigned bar area, ensuring it is fully equipped with the necessary tools and ingredients to support smooth beverage preparation and guest interactions. Inventory management is another critical aspect, involving accurate counts and requisitions to replenish stock as needed. Physical resilience and mobility are vital, as bartenders are expected to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes exceeding eight hours per shift, and must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. The job also demands repetitive hand movements and the ability to bend, stoop, push, and pull as required.
SodexoMagic values a flexible and supportive work environment, fostering opportunities for personal and professional growth. Employees have access to ongoing training and advancement pathways, turning roles into fulfilling careers. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports both employees and their families, including paid time off, holidays, medical and dental coverage, vision care, tuition reimbursement, 401k plans, and various discount programs. Additional location-specific benefits might include free meals or meal allowances, uniforms, safety shoes, public transportation support, and parking accommodations. SodexoMagic promotes an inclusive culture where diversity and individual contributions are celebrated, ensuring all employees are treated with respect and fairness. This commitment to equality creates a strong and vibrant workplace where every employee can thrive.
