Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience
  • preferred ability to prepare a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly
  • must be of legal age to serve alcohol or work as a bartender according to local and state regulations

Job Duties

  • Receive customers, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, create recipes for drinks with appropriate garnishes
  • ensure the assigned bar area is fully stocked with tools and products needed to mix and serve drinks
  • prepare accurate start-of-shift counts and place inventory or purchase orders as necessary to replenish supplies
  • be friendly, diplomatic, and attentive when dealing with customers
  • walk or circulate significantly during the shift
  • maintain the ability to stand or walk for long periods, which may exceed 8 hours
  • perform reaching, bending, crouching, pushing and/or pulling, frequently lifting up to 35 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving 50 pounds
  • perform repetitive motions
  • attend work and arrive for scheduled shifts on time with sufficient regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned, which may vary depending on business needs and client requirements
