Job Description
Boca Restaurant Group is a renowned hospitality company that operates four unique restaurant concepts—Boca, Sotto, Nada, and Domo—across multiple states including Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, and Maryland. The group is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences through high quality food, detailed service, and unwavering hospitality. Rooted deeply in the philosophy of BPA, which stands for Blowing People Away, Boca Restaurant Group focuses on exceeding guest expectations in every aspect of the dining journey. With a strong emphasis on family values and personal growth, the company nurtures an environment where employees can develop professionally within a supportive and positive workplace culture.
Each of Boca Restaurant Group's concepts offers distinct culinary experiences. Nada, one of the group's celebrated brands, specializes in craveable Mexican cuisine crafted from scratch. It combines unique twists on traditional Mexican favorites, set in a vibrant and hip atmosphere designed to be a gathering place for friends to enjoy tacos, small plates, and a menu encouraging sharing and sampling diverse flavors. This creates a dynamic, inviting space where guests can enjoy a festive dining experience.
This particular role is for a Bartender at Nada, a position critical to upholding the brand’s high standards of hospitality and service. Bartenders at Boca Restaurant Group are expected to foster warm, engaging interactions with guests, providing them with a memorable bar experience that complements the food offerings. The ideal candidate will be trained comprehensively in food and beverage knowledge and will apply this expertise to craft classic and innovative cocktails with precision and flair. Attention to detail is paramount, as the job demands strict recipe adherence, expert pour techniques, and the ability to recommend drinks based on guest preferences.
Working behind the bar at Nada is fast paced and requires the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a welcoming demeanor. Bartenders will handle side work duties such as setup, stocking, and cleaning the station, ensuring a smooth and organized service flow. They are also financially responsible for managing cash, credit transactions, and the bar drawer, requiring integrity and accuracy. In addition, all bartenders must comply with federal, state, and local laws governing responsible alcohol service.
Beyond the technical and physical requirements of the role, Boca Restaurant Group places a strong emphasis on cultural fit and alignment with its core values. These values include generosity, humility, positivity, conscientiousness, diligence, continuous learning, and a spirit of hospitality that treats guests like family. The company seeks team members who embody these principles, fostering a positive, joyful workplace and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
This role is available for both full-time and part-time positions, offering an hourly wage supplemented by tips, along with weekly pay. Full-time employees also gain access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The Boca Restaurant Group is committed to providing a supportive work environment where employees can thrive and grow their careers in the hospitality industry. Working as a bartender here is not just a job, but an opportunity to be part of a community dedicated to excellence in service and culinary innovation.
