Job Description

HVMG (Hospitality Ventures Management Group) is a reputable hotel management company renowned for its commitment to excellence and career growth opportunities within the hospitality industry. With a nationwide portfolio of hotels, HVMG fosters a dynamic work environment built on its core 'Be Excellent culture.' This culture emphasizes support, professional development, and a workplace where associates feel valued and encouraged to grow in their careers. From entry-level positions to executive roles, HVMG promotes a culture where employees can control their career destiny and evolve within the organization through dedication and hard work. They uphold strong values of diversity, equity, and inclusion and maintain an equal opportunity workplace that prohibits discrimination at any level. This approach has earned them accolades as one of the best management companies in the hospitality sector, highly praised for excellence in leadership and employee engagement.

The role of Bartender/Mixologist at HVMG brings vibrant energy to the hotel bar experience by skillfully crafting both classic and innovative cocktails in a lively and welcoming atmosphere. This position involves mingling and engaging with guests to create memorable beverage experiences while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. As a Bartender/Mixologist, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, managing bar inventory, and ensuring the bar area remains clean and organized at all times. The bartender acts as a key ambassador of the hotel’s hospitality brand, providing guests with exceptional service that enhances their overall visit. Reporting directly to the Beverage Manager or Bar Supervisor, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about mixology and hospitality, with a flair for creativity and strong attention to detail.

This position offers a flexible scheduling environment that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hotel and bar scene. It is a salaried or hourly role depending on the establishment's needs and includes opportunities for career advancement within the hospitality sector. Many who start as Bartenders or Mixologists at HVMG find pathways leading to bar manager roles, sommeliers, or food and beverage management, making this position an excellent foundation for anyone seeking a long-term career in hospitality. HVMG also values professional development and may give additional consideration to candidates who have completed specialized bartender certifications.

Moreover, HVMG provides its employees with an attractive package of benefits that includes access to full healthcare — medical, dental, and vision — alongside 401(k) retirement plans with guaranteed matching contributions. The company encourages work-life balance through paid time off and holidays, flexible scheduling options, and financial wellness programs such as PayActive, which allows employees to access earned wages before payday. Exclusive discounts on hotel stays and food and beverage also add to the value proposition of being part of HVMG. Overall, the Bartender/Mixologist role is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to join a supportive team dedicated to excellence, growth, and outstanding guest experiences within a prominent hospitality company.
