Proof of the Pudding is currently seeking experienced bartenders to join their dynamic team and facilitate events at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of beverage service during events. The selected candidates will be responsible for both setting up and breaking down the bar while maintaining high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction. Bartenders will play a key role in creating an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for event attendees by preparing and serving drinks with professionalism and care.

Working as a bartender for Proof of the Pudding involves not only mixing and serving drinks but also collaborating closely with bar backs, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all bar items are properly stored after use. The position requires excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as a member of a team. Ideal candidates must have a solid background in bartending, a strong customer service orientation, and be capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a team player and a phenomenal communicator
  • Must be extremely hardworking and organized
  • Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable
  • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
  • Must live near or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting approx. 40 lbs
  • Must adhere to company uniform requirements
  • Ability to work alone or as a team member

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bartending experience
  • Experienced in preparing mixed drinks
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • TIPs certified or similar accredited certifications
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Renowned time management and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Must have impeccable integrity for the business, the community, and the Proof of the Pudding team
  • Must be okay with serving when bartending opportunities not available

Job Duties

  • Responsible for both pre and post bar set-up/break down responsibilities
  • Sets bar up in a timely manner
  • Communicates well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift
  • Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service
  • Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event
  • Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice
  • Record closing inventory used to balance bar consumption vs sales
  • Responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received
  • Performs other related duties as required
