Job Requirements

  • Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
  • One year experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry preferred
  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications
  • Superior professional appearance and manner
  • Good character to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to work weekend mornings and Monday PM availability

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
  • Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
  • Service the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
  • Ensure a consistently caring and high-quality service by relating with guests about their needs and satisfaction
  • Be knowledgeable about drink offerings including cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine to assist guests
  • Contribute to increasing food and beverage sales by knowing menu items, specials, and prices
  • Accurately take and place orders into the Micros system and process billing
  • Operate, maintain, and clean all bar equipment properly
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
  • Adhere to safe food handling practices and maintain a safe work environment
