The role of Bartender at Lucia Mexican Grill is essential to the success of the bar and restaurant operations. Job Requirements
- Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- high school or equivalent education required
- Union Pour Card
- Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification that is currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
- skills and abilities necessary for effective performance typically acquired through five years bartending or similar experience or through progressive promotion and training within the Beverage department
- preferred 1-2 years' experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge
- familiarity with superior customer service skills required
- must have the ability to lead and supervise

Job Duties
- Prepare cocktails for cocktail servers and guests using prescribed recipes
- maintain company funds and equipment in an orderly manner
- interact with guests in a manner which makes them feel comfortable and welcome
- maintain a clean and safe work environment
- assist in the delegation of duties to barbacks
- monitor proper par levels of all supplies
- communicate any problems or detrimental situations to immediate supervisor
