As a non-management full-time position based on-site, this role offers an hourly wage of $28.79 plus eligibility for tips, providing valuable earning potential for hospitality professionals. The position centers around beverage preparation and bar service at a luxury hotel known for impeccable standards and guest satisfaction. The incumbent will prepare drink orders consistent with specified recipes, ensuring quality and consistency in every cocktail served. This includes opening and serving wine and champagne bottles, an essential skill reflecting the sophisticated atmosphere of The Ritz-Carlton.

The role demands meticulous attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and order. The bar area, including tools, tables, and the bar unit itself, must be kept in pristine condition, cultivating an environment that reflects the brand’s elegance. Responsibilities also include fresh garnish preparation and efficient stock management, such as stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies, ensuring the bar is always fully equipped to meet guest demands.

Cash handling is a critical aspect of this role. The candidate will process all payment types accurately, complete cashier reports, count and secure the bank at shift end and resolve any discrepancies, reinforcing financial accountability and integrity. Safety and security compliance are paramount; the candidate will adhere strictly to company policies, report unsafe conditions, and maintain secure storage of liquors and other valuable assets.

This position includes a range of physical requirements, including the ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity is crucial for handling glassware and garnishes. Flexibility is also necessary to navigate various physical environments, including confined or elevated spaces, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
