Job Duties
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
- Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints satisfactorily
- Adhere to hotel safety and emergency procedures
- Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts continuously
- Greet guests and introduce menu options
- Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages
- Take orders from guests or wait staff
- Maintain and clean bar area and equipment
- Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Take inventory and order supplies to keep bar well-stocked
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Comply with state liquor laws and prevent over-serving
- Report accidents and breakages to management
- Adhere to food safety hygiene standards
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Inspect and prepare materials and equipment for service
- Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and departmental policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
