The Lead Restaurant & Bar Bartender position at Leaf Restaurant & Bar is a part-time, on-site role focused on delivering polished, efficient, and responsible beverage service within a dynamic restaurant, bar, and premium cigar lounge setting. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous bartending experience in bar, lounge, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Strong guest service, time management, organizational, and communication skills
- POS and payment handling experience preferred
- Willingness to learn about cigars
- RAMP certification before first shift
- Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and peak-volume events
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with exposure to smoke, noise, and high guest traffic
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine required
- Strong guest service, time management, organization, and communication skills required
- POS and payment-handling experience preferred
- Cigar knowledge is a plus
- Willingness to learn cigar offerings
- RAMP certification required before the first scheduled shift
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and speed
- Deliver polished, hospitality-driven bar service and make knowledgeable beverage recommendations
- Learn and confidently speak about cigar offerings and premium cigar-lounge service expectations
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
- Handle orders, guest checks, and POS transactions accurately
- Follow all liquor laws, RAMP requirements, and guest-safety standards
