The role of Bartender Lead is a pivotal position within Happy Group’s 2026 music festival season, a temporary yet highly influential leadership opportunity spanning from June 20th through November, covering over 20 festival events. Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, these festivals are scheduled primarily on weekends, with occasional Friday events, offering a vibrant and fast-paced environment perfect for enthusiastic leaders passionate about hospitality and event management. The Bartender Lead will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive bar operations across multiple locations at each festival, ensuring seamless execution from setup through breakdown.

This role demands a high level of coordination, as the Bartender Lead will manage a team of bartenders and barbacks, scheduling shifts, assigning duties, and providing essential training on drink preparation, customer service, and point-of-sale systems. Beyond team leadership, the Bartender Lead must maintain impeccable standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency, especially during peak hours when high-volume service is critical.
