The athlete bartender at Resorts World Las Vegas plays a crucial role in elevating the guest experience by providing outstanding beverage service in a fast-paced, luxury resort setting. This position entails preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with prescribed recipes, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. As a bartender, you are more than just someone who mixes drinks; you are an ambassador of the brand, building relationships with guests to create a memorable and enjoyable visit. This role requires a strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail recipes, as well as the ability to operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently.
Beyond serving drinks, the Athena bartender is responsible for verifying guest identification and confirming room reservations, which ensures compliance with legal and property regulations. The position demands maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of the bar area throughout the shift, monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed, and obtaining and maintaining all position-specific licensing such as Gaming Card, T.A.M Card, and Health Card. The role requires working varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet guest needs at all hours.

Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Position required licenses such as Gaming Card, TAM Card, Health Card
- One year day club or luxury resort experience
- Ability to stand and bend in extreme temperatures
- Tolerance to varying conditions of noise, temperature, illumination, and air quality
- Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 40 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of standard and menu alcoholic drinks and nonalcoholic drinks
- Familiarize themselves with all food items
- Proficient knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
- Working knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules regulations
- Acknowledge and sign all SOPs
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve all bar patrons in accordance with property recipes
- Verify identification of guests age and room reservations
- Process customer payments using company POS system
- Maintain and sanitize all bar areas throughout the day
- Monitor inventory and restock as needed
- Obtain and maintain position specific licensing
- Perform other duties as assigned
