Currently, Hotel Equities is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Bartender to join the team at The Farnam, Autograph Collection, located in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or secondary qualification or equivalent
  • Must have experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards
  • Must have a strong knowledge of drink preparation and health standards
  • Must know and comply with federal, state and local laws and company policy on alcohol service
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
  • Must possess basic computational and computer skills
  • Must have knowledge of hotel services and facilities
  • Must be familiar with menu items
  • Must be able to operate bar equipment including coffee maker and cash terminal
  • Must be physically capable of standing and mobilizing for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 75 lbs and push/pull equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Must have Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certification
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/secondary qualification or equivalent
  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards
  • Strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations and Company policy regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computational ability
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good knowledge of hotel services and facilities
  • Familiarity with all menu items
  • Ability to operate all equipment related to the outlet including coffee maker and cash terminal
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Food Handlers Certification
