Job Description

Geronimo Hospitality Group is a dynamic and innovative collection of award-winning boutique hotels, restaurants, and clubs known for challenging the status quo and setting new standards in the hospitality industry. Unlike traditional hospitality companies, Geronimo prides itself on being the bar rather than just raising it, creating destinations that leave lasting impressions instead of mere pit stops. The group's culture is defined by a commitment to excellence, a competitive spirit, and a dedication to pushing boundaries. This unique ethos fosters an environment where creativity, hard work, and passion for service come together to deliver unparalleled experiences to guests. Geronimo Hospitality Group’s establishments attract a diverse array of travelers and locals seeking memorable encounters in thoughtfully curated spaces that combine sophistication with an inviting atmosphere.

Hotel Santa Barbara, a key member of the Geronimo Hospitality Group, is a charming and historic boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. Just a half-mile from the beach and Stearns Wharf, and one block from the Paseo Nuevo outdoor shopping center, this hotel blends convenient location with an intimate, personalized guest experience. Its proximity to the beach and local attractions makes it a sought-after destination for travelers looking for comfort combined with authentic Santa Barbara charm.

The position of Bartender at Geronimo Hospitality Group is a part-time role offering $20.00 per hour. This opportunity is ideal for energetic individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. As a Bartender, you play a pivotal role in shaping guests’ impressions by skillfully mixing and serving a variety of beverages while fostering a friendly and warm environment. Your responsibilities involve not just concocting classic and craft cocktails but also helping guests navigate the menu by providing knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage pairings.

The role demands excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and adherence to safety and legal regulations governing beverage service. Working closely with a team of dedicated hospitality professionals, you are encouraged to use your voice and creativity to enhance the overall guest experience and contribute to the ongoing success of the hotel and the Geronimo Hospitality Group brand. Beyond mixology, this role offers personal growth through training and development opportunities, enabling you to build your career in a high-energy, supportive environment.

Geronimo values its employees by offering competitive benefits such as employee discounts, paid time off, 401K plans, medical benefits, 24/7 online care, and pet insurance. These perks are designed to reward skill and commitment, helping team members build a sustainable future with the company while enjoying a balanced professional and personal life. Joining the Geronimo Hospitality Group means becoming part of a team that thrives on innovation, camaraderie, and the pursuit of excellence in the hospitality industry, making it an exciting and rewarding place to work.
