Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system

- Knowledge of state and local liquor laws
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments

Job Duties
- Reports to work as indicated on the work schedule and in the correct uniform
- Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts
- Correctly sets up the bar and completes all opening/side work duties
- Orders, requisitions, and stocks all liquor, beverage, and other bar supplies
- Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests
- Greets all bar guests immediately, makes suggestions, and answers questions
- Takes, records, and rings all food and beverage items ordered by bar guests
- Observes bar guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar counter and work areas
- Adheres to and complies with all state/local liquor laws and ABE policies
- Practices teamwork by assisting fellow employees whenever possible
- Communicates any guest concerns or dissatisfaction to the Manager on Duty
- Presents the guest check and processes payment for all food and beverages sold
- Performs the cashiering function for the service staff and restaurant
- Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all ABE standards and procedures
