Job Description
Resorts World Las Vegas is a premier hospitality and entertainment destination known for its luxury accommodations, world-class gaming, exquisite dining options, and vibrant nightlife. As a modern resort and casino complex, Resorts World caters to a broad range of guests, offering a dynamic and engaging environment for both leisure and business travelers. The resort’s commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction positions it as a leader in the hospitality industry. It emphasizes a culture of safety, security, cleanliness, and extraordinary guest experience, upheld by its team members who act as ambassadors for the brand.
The Bartender role at Resorts World Las Vegas is crucial in delivering an exceptional beverage service experience. This position involves the preparation and serving of a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with property recipes, ensuring both quality and consistency. Beyond the technical skills required, the Bartender is expected to embody the spirit of hospitality by providing an above average industry experience that encourages guests to return repeatedly. This role requires someone who can thrive in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks calmly and effectively while maintaining focus on guest satisfaction.
Bartenders at Resorts World serve not only drinks but also a memorable experience by engaging guests seated at the bar, verifying legal drinking age through proper identification checks, and handling transactions efficiently through the company’s point-of-sale system. The role contributes to the ambiance and aesthetics of the bar by maintaining cleanliness and organization, managing bar inventory, and ensuring all equipment is in working order. Additionally, Bartenders participate in the broader resort community by engaging in promotional activities, special events, and marketing campaigns which may include modeling or presenting duties.
This position requires adherence to specific licenses including non-gaming, Food Handler, and Alcohol Awareness certifications, ensuring that all services are compliant with legal and company standards. Physical demands are notable; standing for long periods, handling physical tasks such as lifting and reaching, and working in a space that may be crowded or noisy are standard. The Bartender must also align with Resorts World’s core values including ambassador responsibility, safety, security, environmental vigilance, and exceptional guest service. This comprehensive role is fundamental to creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment that upholds the reputation of Resorts World Las Vegas as a top-tier hospitality leader.
