Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or relevant hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Strong customer service skills required
Job Qualifications
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- Ability to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
- Experience handling cash and using register systems preferred
- Ability to maintain positive guest relations
- Team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
- Be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks proper glassware used for each recipe and garnishes needed
- Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
- Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
- Accurately charge guests for drinks and manage intake of all monies
- Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations
- Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- Complete formal training on liquor liability within 30 days and every two years thereafter
