As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering this experience by showcasing extensive knowledge of our menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections. Your responsibilities will include responsibly mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages following standardized recipes to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction. In addition to preparing drinks, you will be responsible for keeping the bar area neat and sanitized, maintaining the proper working condition of bar equipment, and adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations. This role requires active engagement in customer service, including handling payments accurately and efficiently, managing cash procedures, and preparing daily reports for management.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor Apprentice Bartenders and Bar Porters, sharing your knowledge and expertise to uphold the overall functionality and excellence of the bar team. Effective inventory management is another essential aspect of the role; you will help maintain stock levels according to set pars and internal controls, ensuring that products are always available for service. Guest satisfaction is paramount, so resolving any complaints or concerns within your authority and promptly escalating other issues to management is expected.

Job Requirements
- Proof of eligibility to work in the united states
- Work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays required

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Two years of experience in a bar or similar environment preferred
- Experience working in a similar setting preferred
- Knowledgeable of menu items including mixture and serving beverages standard beverage recipes preparation methods glassware garnishes products menu items supplies and equipment
- Knowledgeable of wine and champagne characteristics by the glass major wines designated glassware terminology and garnishes
- Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Job Duties
- Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
- Clean equipment tools and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order including cleanliness sanitation and appearance of the bar
- Knowledgeable of menu items liquor brands beers and non-alcoholic selections available
- Ring poured or served beverages collect payment and follow all cash handling and variance procedures including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
- Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar guest service and bartending
- Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls and request product to maintain stock in bar
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority otherwise refer the matter to management notify supervisor and or Security of all unusual events circumstances missing items or alleged theft
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
