The Bartender position at the Delta Sky Club, located at 2642 World Gateway Place, Detroit, MI, offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and mixology to become part of this esteemed organization. This full-time position features a dynamic schedule including weekdays and weekends, with shifts from 6 am to 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 11 pm, providing a flexible yet consistent work environment. The role is designed for candidates who have a minimum of one year of bartender experience, demonstrating proficiency in beverage preparation and excellent guest service skills.

The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to prepare and serve beverages efficiently and courteously in the bar area of the Delta Sky Club. This role demands adherence to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, with a strong emphasis on responsibly serving alcoholic beverages to prevent service to minors and intoxicated guests. Bartenders must maintain a well-stocked and organized bar, including the preparation of garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality drinks. Customer interaction is a key component, requiring bartenders to greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and deliver drinks with precision and professionalism.

Moreover, bartenders are entrusted with cash handling duties, including receiving payments, making change, and accurately recording transactions. Security and sanitation are also critical responsibilities, involving locking up beverage products, handling deposits, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health and safety standards. This role also involves creativity in beverage presentation and maintaining attractive displays to enhance the guest experience.
