The full-time bartender position at Compass Group involves preparing and serving beverages with a focus on courtesy, efficiency, and compliance with all applicable liquor laws and corporate standards. This role demands a proactive approach to maintaining stock levels, preparing garnishes, and ensuring that the bar area remains clean, organized, and welcoming. Bartenders will be responsible for checking guest identification, managing cash transactions, and detecting signs of guest intoxication to promote a safe environment. The job includes the physical requirement of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00, complemented by benefits such as free meals, uniform provision and laundering at select locations, and various health and wellness programs.

  • Previous two years of bartending experience required
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • availability for full-time schedule with varying days and hours
  • ability to adhere to all applicable liquor laws and company policies
  • willing to work in a fast-paced airport club environment
  • must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily

Job Duties

  • Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
  • adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • sets up assigned bars and stocks supplies
  • maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes

  • takes and processes drink orders
