Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to commonly carry 10lbs and occasionally 140lbs of weight (kegs)
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A true desire to satisfy customer needs in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Must be available to work full-time including weekends
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and team player mentality
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of common and classic cocktails
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Understanding of state and local alcohol service guidelines
- Commitment to Hyatt's values including empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and friendly image
Job Duties
- Provide libations and offer customized recommendations
- Maintain familiarity with the latest mixology techniques, bar equipment, and sanitation standards
- Deliver strong guest service with a focus on hospitality
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Engage in casual conversation and creativity in drink preparation
- Understand and comply with state and local alcohol service guidelines
- Rotate serving shifts with other bartenders to support guest needs
