Job Description

Club39 is an elevated but approachable sports bar located within Padel39 in East Austin, Texas. As part of a fast-growing multi-location padel club operator in Texas, Club39 uniquely combines a passionate sports culture with a sophisticated bar program. Set to open in May 2026, Club39 aims to be more than just a standard bar — it is designed to be a vibrant social hub where craft cocktails meet serious sports enthusiasm. The establishment focuses strongly on creating an authentic atmosphere that resonates with both sports lovers and cocktail aficionados alike. With its prime location and innovative approach, Club39 is positioned to quickly become a go-to destination in East Austin for those seeking excellent drinks and a welcoming, energetic environment.

At the heart of Club39 is not only the sport of padel but also a dynamic bar experience anchored by a well-crafted cocktail program. The club places a strong emphasis on hospitality as a critical component of its service philosophy. This is manifested through detailed attention to guest interactions, drink quality, and the overall ambiance of the bar. The team behind Club39 is committed to setting high standards by selecting team members who are passionate, skilled, and aligned with the club’s vision of genuine hospitality paired with expertly crafted cocktails.

The role of Bartender at Club39 is vital to the overall success of the bar. This position requires more than just mixing drinks; it necessitates creating memorable guest experiences and ensuring every visitor feels valued and welcomed. Bartenders at Club39 are expected to expertly execute a carefully designed cocktail menu in a fun and lively setting where guests come to enjoy themselves. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, from the precision of cocktail preparation to the warmth extended in every interaction. They recognize that bartending and hospitality go hand in hand, both being crucial skills required to elevate the guest experience.

The position offers a competitive wage starting at $9.00 per hour plus tips, with an all-day tip pool allocated based on hours worked. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with hours primarily spanning from early afternoon to late evening, ensuring flexibility to suit a variety of candidates. The club encourages team members to maintain professionalism and enthusiasm during operating hours that differ throughout the week, thus ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction.

Club39 supports its employees with valuable benefits, particularly full-time staff, who are eligible for medical insurance with a premium partially covered by the club. Dental and vision plans are also offered at employee cost. Paid time off accrues from the date of hire, enhancing work-life balance and supporting longevity within the team. Training and onboarding are scheduled to commence in May 2026, ahead of the grand opening, demonstrating the club’s commitment to thorough preparation and setting all team members up for success from day one.

Overall, Club39 represents an exciting and unique opportunity for bartenders who are passionate about both craft cocktails and delivering outstanding customer service in a vibrant sports bar setting. The club is not only building a team but a culture where employees are valued, supported, and empowered to excel. If you have at least one year of bartending experience, a passion for hospitality, and a desire to be part of an innovative venue that blends sport and social connection, Club39 could be your ideal workplace.
