Job Description

Sagewood is a distinguished senior living community located in Phoenix, Arizona, recognized for its striking Southwestern architecture that beautifully blends with the Sonoran Desert and the McDowell Mountains. This picturesque setting is not only visually captivating but also fosters a warm, friendly, and supportive environment, making it one of the most sought-after and rapidly growing senior living communities in the area. At Sagewood, the commitment extends beyond just providing a residence; it focuses on delivering a high-quality living experience that rivals well-established restaurants through exceptional dining options and attentive service. The community prides itself on its high standards, creating a workplace where respect, fun, and fairness are paramount. Employees at Sagewood are valued for their reliability, dependability, consistency, and thoughtfulness, qualities that significantly contribute to the overall resident experience. For individuals seeking a full-time job opportunity with a balanced and manageable schedule, Sagewood offers a unique and appealing position as a full-time Bartender. This role is designed with a considerate schedule that operates from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays, with occasional weekends and holidays, ensuring no late nights and the ability for employees to be home by 9:00 PM. This schedule is particularly attractive to students and those requiring a stable evening routine. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 and is situated at 4555 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ. As a non-tipping, salary-only community, Sagewood emphasizes equitable compensation and a focus on quality service without the reliance on tips. Additionally, the community mandates a flu vaccination to ensure the health and safety of both residents and staff. Working as a Bartender at Sagewood means being part of a team that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to residents in their own restaurants within the community. The role involves creating beverages tailored to resident preferences, assisting with inventory, and maintaining quality standards expected in a restaurant-like service environment within a senior living context. The position not only values your existing knowledge and skills but also offers comprehensive training to help you succeed and grow professionally. Overall, Sagewood exemplifies a workplace that blends a picturesque locale with meaningful work in senior care, supportive team culture, and an honest, well-structured work schedule that respects employee time and wellbeing.
