Four Points by Sheraton Fort Worth North is a distinguished hotel that is part of the globally recognized Marriott International portfolio. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and personable Bartender to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where guest satisfaction is paramount. The Bartender position at Four Points by Sheraton Fort Worth North is responsible for delivering outstanding beverage service, creating a pleasant and engaging atmosphere in our designated outlet. This role includes maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic options available to effectively guide and recommend selections to guests.
The Bartender will also be expected to possess detailed knowledge of wines and champagnes, understanding their characteristics and descriptions by the glass and from our major wine list. Expertise in glassware, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes is essential to ensure that every drink served meets our high standards. Furthermore, strict adherence to state liquor laws, particularly those preventing service to minors and intoxicated guests, is a critical part of the job.
In addition to beverage preparation, the Bartender will maintain awareness of operational details such as table and seat numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, menus, price ranges, and dress code to provide seamless service tailored to the outlet's ambiance. The role demands cooperation with departmental policies and service standards, including tender management and inventory responsibilities, which help maintain an efficient and successful bar operation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner when interacting with guests and colleagues are crucial to this position. This job requires weekend and holiday availability to meet the fluctuating demands of the hospitality industry. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain food handlers permit within 1 week of employment
- Ability to obtain Food Handlers/TABC certification within 1 week of employment
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of state liquor regulations
- Ability to maintain inventory and ordering levels
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet
- Maintain knowledge of the characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list
- Maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes for each drink
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, menus, price range and dress code of assigned outlet
- Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies and service procedures to include tender management
- Ensure high level service experience for all guests
- Complete all duties assigned by management, including daily inventory and maintaining ordering levels
- Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees
