The Foundation Room Bartender plays a vital role within Live Nation Clubs and Theaters, operating in an upscale dining and music hall atmosphere. This role involves serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as food, to guests with professionalism and a cheerful demeanor. The bartender is expected to provide exceptional customer service, driven by a thorough knowledge of mixology and beverage trends, while fostering a welcoming environment where patrons feel valued and appreciated. The position requires interaction with a diverse clientele including members, VIPs, Live Nation executives, and general audiences, making cultural competence and interpersonal skills essential. Job Requirements
- Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training certification or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in upscale dining and nightlife establishments
- Ability to upsell and offer food and drink suggestions
- Articulate vocabulary with ability to socialize with diverse audiences
- Exemplary professional grooming standards
- Flexible schedule with availability to work late and night hours
- Cash handling experience
- Strong knowledge of all beverages
- Physically able to pass a pour test and timed mixology drill
- Ability to manage intoxicated guests positively and safely
- Skilled in interpersonal communication and teamwork
- Tolerance of all cultures and music forms
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds using proper techniques
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Experience recognizing valid IDs preferred
- Experience in live music environments preferred

Job Duties
- Welcome and acknowledge Foundation Room members, Live Nation executives and VIPs
- Deliver service for upscale dining with impeccable knowledge of steps
- Stay current and knowledgeable on latest drink trends
- Understand fundamentals of mixology and uphold beverage culture
- Suggest wines and food pairings
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinances and company policies
- Request identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age
- Interact with guests in a friendly and natural manner
- Cultivate regular guests and encourage repeat business
- Complete a pour test prior to every shift where applicable
- Suggestively sell beverages and menu items
- Deliver food and beverage orders promptly
- Prioritize and organize drink orders
- Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications
- Record equipment failures and safety hazards
- Recognize intoxicated guests and refuse service courteously
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties
- Prepare guest checks and process payments
- Maintain bartender cash bank and perform checkout procedures
- Attend pre-shift meetings conducted by manager on duty
