Job Requirements
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner
- Must be willing to help co-workers and be a team player
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Basic mathematical skills necessary for cash handling
- Manual dexterity for bartending tasks
- Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to remember menu items
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with associates and customers
- Ability to obtain Maricopa Health Card and Alcohol Certificate
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferably in fine dining or upscale hospitality
- Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits with ability to recommend
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate point of sale systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to obtain required health and alcohol certifications
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages promptly and courteously in a fast-paced upscale setting
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Assist co-workers and pitch in as a team player
- Handle cash transactions including operating a cash register, making change, and preparing cash drops
- Mix drinks, garnish beverages, and operate point of sale systems
- Adhere to safety and security procedures and maintain clean and organized work area
