The Bartender - FOH (Front of House) role at EWR is a critical position responsible for creating memorable experiences for airport guests by delivering exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. This role reports directly to the management team at EWR and offers a competitive compensation starting at $6.05 per hour plus tips, providing a unique opportunity for individuals interested in hospitality and customer service within the travel sector. Bartenders at On the Go are ambassadors of the brand, interacting with a diverse array of customers from all over the world daily. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • legal authorization to serve alcohol
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather
  • ability to lift 40 lbs or more
  • ability to stand, stoop, kneel and crouch for extended periods
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Maintain a guest focus while performing duties
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes
  • ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to alcohol service
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages
  • provide friendly and efficient customer service
  • assist with opening and closing bar procedures
