Bartender- Edgewater Beach

The Cleveland Metroparks, a renowned regional park system dedicated to conservation, education, and recreation, is seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join their team. Operating in a seasonal capacity from May through October, this role is integral to providing guests with a friendly, efficient, and enjoyable experience at the park's bar locations. The bartender will greet guests, accurately prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, maintain compliance with company standards and legal requirements, and ensure the bar is well-stocked and operational. The role requires collaboration with the Bar Manager for inventory management and supply replenishment while adhering to strict cash handling protocols. In addition to serving drinks, the bartender may also provide snacks or food items to guests and maintain cleanliness and safety within the bar area. The position demands knowledge of food and beverage offerings, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team. Given its seasonal and variable schedule nature, candidates must be flexible with shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will also be responsible for fostering a safe work environment by responding promptly to potential hazards and maintaining open communication with supervisors about any significant concerns.
