Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior bartending experience required
- Must be age 21 or older
- Must complete Serve-Safe program after hire
- Knowledge in the art and science of cocktails and drink recipes
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively using correct grammar
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior bartending experience required
- Knowledge in the art and science of cocktails and drink recipes
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both orally and in writing
- Ability to perform work with accuracy and organization
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to perform independently with initiative
Job Duties
- Greets guests and takes beverage orders from restaurant servers or guests
- Mixes drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages according to company standards
- Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements
- Collects payment for drinks and follows cash handling procedures
- Works with Bar Manager to equip bar area and prepare inventory or purchase orders
- Serves snacks or food items to guests where appropriate
- Maintains a clean working area including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces
- Provides guidance to guests on Cleveland Metroparks activities and regional information
- Keeps supervisor informed of key issues or concerns
- Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner maintaining a safe work environment
- Responds to hazardous or unsafe conditions by taking corrective actions
- Performs related duties as assigned or apparent
