Job Description

Regal Cinemas is a leading entertainment company specializing in providing an exceptional movie-going experience to guests across numerous locations. Known for its commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment, Regal Cinemas combines state-of-the-art technology with excellent customer service to make each visit memorable. The company operates as a movie theater chain that offers a variety of films and concessions, perfectly blending entertainment with hospitality. With a focus on delivering quality service, Regal Cinemas continually seeks team members who share the company’s passion for guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and teamwork.

This position offers variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly employment options, providing flexibility based on theater needs and employee availability. The hourly pay rate is $17.00, reflecting the company’s recognition of the importance of its team members. As a bartender at Regal Cinemas, your primary responsibility is to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages while maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will be the face of the company to many guests, making exceptional service and genuine hospitality crucial to your role. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol serving laws, you will complete all required training and obtain necessary certifications to responsibly serve alcohol. Your duties also include managing all monetary transactions, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the concession areas, and promoting ongoing sales programs such as the Crown Club.

As a key team member, you will uphold Regal’s policies regarding customer service, safety, and hygiene. You must exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with guests and fellow employees. The role demands a strong understanding of sales techniques, including up selling and suggestive selling, to enhance the guest experience and company revenue. Attention to detail in handling cash and inventory is vital, along with knowledge of emergency procedures and compliance with food safety standards. Additionally, drivers such as your smile, greeting guests warmly, and thanking them contribute significantly to overall guest satisfaction.

Working at Regal Cinemas offers a supportive environment with plenty of opportunities for professional growth through a cast certification program and various training modules, including sexual harassment and discrimination awareness. You will also be part of a team culture that values punctuality, knowledge of company promotions, and adherence to dress code standards. The company provides all necessary training materials and encourages continuous learning to keep skills sharp and knowledge current.

Beyond the rewarding work environment, Regal Cinemas extends tangible benefits to its employees. Team members enjoy free movie passes and discounted concession items, making it a great place for cinema enthusiasts. Once team members reach 21 years of age and complete six months of service, they become eligible for the company’s 401(k) retirement plan with match contributions. These offerings demonstrate Regal Cinemas’ commitment to recognizing and rewarding the dedication of their employees.

This bartender role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, who are passionate about the entertainment and hospitality industries, and who enjoy engaging with diverse guests.
