This job opportunity is for the position of Bartender at Six Flags. As a Bartender, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest service by preparing, serving, and selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages across different venues such as restaurants, outdoor carts, and catered events within the park. This full-time or part-time role offers a competitive pay rate starting at $10.50 per hour plus tips, with flexible scheduling options that include shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the fast-paced and exciting environment unique to Six Flags. Job Requirements

Must be over the age of 21
Proven working experience as a bartender
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantra
Friendly, outgoing personality comfortable inviting guests to your station
Ability to work with a team to relay food orders as needed
Positive attitude to make guests excited about their meal
Passion for delicious food
Ability to stand on your feet for several hours and to work in various weather conditions including indoor, outdoor, warm weather, cold weather
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Qualifications

Must be over the age of 21
Proven working experience as a bartender
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantra
Friendly, outgoing personality comfortable inviting guests to your station
Ability to work with a team to relay food orders as needed

Job Duties

Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Provide exceptional guest service while exhibiting the Six Flags mantra of Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe service
Take guests’ orders, offer suggestions, and upsell delicious menu items
Operate Point of Sale (POS) registers and Mobile Ordering tablets
Other duties as assigned.
