Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartender experience preferred
- ability to obtain necessary state and local alcohol service certifications
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred
- knowledge of bartending principles and recipes
- knowledge of current trends in beverages
- ability to obtain required alcohol service certifications
- strong hospitality and friendliness
- comprehensive beverage knowledge
- good organizational and multitasking skills
- attention to detail
- enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- available to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greets guests and takes orders
- processes cash and credit card transactions
- mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- provides drinks to servers from the service well
- adheres to alcohol service policies and checks identification
- follows cash handling policies
- sets up and breaks down workstations including cleaning and sanitizing
- takes inventory counts and stocks products
- provides excellent guest service
- maintains positive demeanor
- ensures security of company assets
