The current opportunity is for experienced Bartenders to join the High Flying Foods team at two of its renowned establishments located within Denver International Airport: New Belgium Brewing and Santo Restaurants. These roles demand high energy, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality within a fast-paced airport environment. Bartenders at High Flying Foods are not only beverage experts but also brand ambassadors who play an essential role in providing exceptional guest experiences through superior service, quality drinks, and maintaining a clean, efficient bar area. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Must obtain RBS Certification within one week of employment
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of shift
- RBS Certification must be obtained within the first week of employment
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and guide patrons to help determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, upsell and take drink orders
- Check identification and strictly follow all ABC guidelines to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
- Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages and food orders to customers
- Inform customers about new menu items and specials
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- Serve food and remove used dishware, cutlery and glassware in a timely fashion
- Carefully assess customer alcohol intake to avoid overserving
- Adhere to all food safety, service, and quality regulations
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
- Maintain a clean work environment by helping clean the dining area, tables, bar area, including and washing glasses, utensils, and applicable equipment
- Other duties as assigned
