Job Description
White Lodging is a distinguished hospitality company renowned for developing and operating a portfolio of award-winning premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants located in some of the most vibrant and dynamic cities across the United States. With a deep commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences, White Lodging embodies the essence of hospitality by focusing on how they make people feel. Their operations span upscale environments where excellence and guest satisfaction are paramount, and they foster a culture that supports personal growth and professional development. Recognized for their premium service and commitment to quality, White Lodging offers an inspiring workplace for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to thrive in fast-paced, high-energy settings.
The bartender role at White Lodging is more than just serving drinks – it is about bringing the virtue of hospitality to life in a hotel bar setting. This position involves crafting cocktails and providing outstanding customer service in an upscale bar environment within one of the company’s premium hotels or restaurant locations. Bartenders at White Lodging deliver personalized guest interactions, creating friendly and welcoming atmospheres where guests feel valued and respected. The company offers advanced scheduling flexibility supported by an easy-to-use app, enabling employees to balance their work and personal lives effectively, including picking up or swapping shifts as needed.
As a bartender in this thriving company, you will be expected to demonstrate expert knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer and wine selections, and presentation techniques. Employees are provided with training opportunities to enhance their skills and deepen their mixology expertise. This role demands a high standard of cleanliness and organization to maintain health and safety compliance consistently. Additionally, working as a team player within the bar environment and supporting a positive work culture is critical to success.
White Lodging also emphasizes responsible alcohol service, insisting on monitoring guests' alcohol consumption to prevent overservice and comply with liquor laws. Beyond serving, bartenders are tasked with handling multiple payment methods accurately and managing end-of-shift financial reconciliation. The role offers ample opportunities for advancement across the company’s numerous hotel properties, encouraging long-term career growth. Employees also benefit from competitive compensation and numerous perks, including DailyPay (which allows access to wages when workers need them), 401(k) plans with matching contributions, tuition reimbursement, and leadership development programs.
The position caters to individuals with an outgoing, social personality, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and a positive, can-do attitude. While previous bartending experience in hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bar environments is desirable, White Lodging is willing to train motivated candidates who show potential. A commitment to excellence, attention to detail in cocktail presentation and guest satisfaction, and the ability to work efficiently during busy shifts is essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is also a key requirement due to the nature of the hospitality industry and its operating hours.
Overall, working as a bartender at White Lodging represents a unique opportunity to be part of a leading national hospitality brand that values inclusivity, career growth, and a dynamic team environment. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to develop your bartending skills while enjoying flexible scheduling and excellent benefits, this role could be an ideal fit.
