Job Description

Waynesborough Country Club is a distinguished, family-oriented private club located in the heart of the Main Line, a prestigious area known for its rich community and upscale lifestyle. This premier club offers its members a year-round social sanctuary where they can enjoy an exceptional blend of golf, racquets, and aquatics programs. The club prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere and its newly renovated clubhouse, which stands as the vibrant center of the community. Within this beautifully updated facility, members have access to a wide array of dining experiences that cater to varying preferences and occasions, from casual pub fare to elegant, high-end formal events. This environment reflects the club's commitment to providing a comprehensive and luxurious member experience that goes beyond recreational activities to include premier dining and social options.

The role of Part-Time Bartender at Waynesborough Country Club is integral to maintaining the club's high standards of personalized and attentive service. Reporting directly to the Beverage Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will bring a professional, reliable, and personable approach to the Food & Beverage team. This part-time role demands an individual with a strong background in high-end hospitality, someone who understands that bartending is not just about mixing drinks but about building long-lasting relationships with members and enhancing the club's reputation for excellence.

As a Bartender at Waynesborough, you are expected to deliver an exceptional level of service that aligns with the club's values and member expectations. This position involves greeting members by name, remembering their specific preferences, and providing a seamless and personalized experience every time. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with the club's established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring each drink meets the club's quality expectations.

Beyond drink preparation, the bartender also supports the dining service by taking food orders at the bar and facilitating effective communication with kitchen and floor staff to ensure timely delivery. Maintaining bar operations involves managing opening and closing duties, including restocking inventory, preparing fresh garnishes, and keeping the bar area organized and ready for service at all times. Proficiency with the JONAS POS system or similar technology is necessary to accurately enter orders and process member charges, making sure all transactions are posted correctly.

In addition to these operational tasks, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization is crucial. This includes ensuring that all glassware, bar tools, and service surfaces are spotless and hygienic throughout the shift. Upholding the Waynesborough standards means consistently delivering exceptional service, maintaining professional appearance and demeanor, and exemplifying teamwork by collaborating effectively with both service and culinary teams. This collaborative spirit is essential during busy shifts and special events to ensure smooth club operations and the best member experience possible.

This part-time bartender opportunity at Waynesborough Country Club is perfect for hospitality professionals seeking to work in a prestigious private club setting where their skills and customer service excellence are highly valued. The role offers a dynamic and engaging work environment with a focus on member interaction and high-quality beverage service. Candidates with a passion for hospitality, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to maintaining the highest service standards will find this position rewarding and fulfilling.
