This role of Bartender and Food Prep team member is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that Drury Hotels are known for. Under general supervision, this position involves opening and closing the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures with meticulous attention to cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • must be 21 years old or older
  • one year bartending experience required
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to obtain and maintain certifications per company requirements
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
  • ability to handle money and utilize office machines
  • ability to operate machines and equipment including cash register and POS software
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to manage bar opening and closing procedures
  • ability to distinguish currency denominations and make change

Job Qualifications

  • must be 21 years old or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • completion of two years of college preferred
  • one year of bartending experience required, two or more years preferred
  • ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
  • ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively
  • excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with guests and team members professionally
  • ability to open and close bar and maintain supplies needed for cocktail preparation
  • ability to distinguish different currency denominations and make change
  • ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
