Job Requirements
- Must be at least the minimum age required to serve alcohol by applicable state law
- able to spend 100 percent of working time standing, walking, and reaching
- able to push, pull, and lift objects frequently including loads greater than 50 pounds
- capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling
- able to climb and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
- clear communication skills in the primary language of the restaurant
- ability to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED preferred
- 1 to 3 years’ bartending experience in a food and beverage environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor
- proficiency in free-pouring to recipe and specification
- good reading, writing, mathematical, and communication skills
- ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- good judgment and decision-making abilities
Job Duties

- understand and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances

- provide every customer with an awesome first, next, and last great experience
- smile and welcome all customers encountered
- address customers by name and engage in conversations throughout their experience
- accommodate and meet special needs of customers
- utilize genuine salesmanship techniques during customer interactions
- possess extensive knowledge of all food and beverage selections including specials
- place accurate orders using the POS
- deliver food and beverages with urgency and proper temperature
- manage the bar during each shift as though it were your own business
- maintain clean and organized bar top and storage areas
- adhere to responsible beverage service requirements
- verify that all customers purchasing alcohol are at least 21 years old
- answer telephone in a friendly and upbeat manner
- take and manage to-go orders
- adhere to cash handling policies
- assist servers by running drinks to tables
- encourage customers to sit in the bar area
- stock glassware, ice, and garnishes
- complete opening, ongoing, and closing sidework
- maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- notify manager of all customer complaints
- remain calm at all times
- perform other tasks as assigned by management
