Bally's Corporation (NYSE: BALY) is a prominent global casino-entertainment company well-established across North America and expanding internationally. The company operates 19 casinos across 11 states, along with unique entertainment facilities including a golf course in New York and a horse racetrack in Colorado. Bally's has strategically grown its omni-channel presence by acquiring Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, further extending its global reach. Additionally, Bally's owns Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing interactive iCasino platform, which collectively position the company as a leader in the integrated gaming and entertainment industry. With approximately 11,500 employees, Bally's manages an extensive portfolio including nearly 17,700 slot machines, 630 table games, and 3,950 hotel rooms. The company also holds rights to develop land in Las Vegas on the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas, signaling potential future expansion into one of the world's most famous gaming destinations.
The Bartender role at Bally's is vital to delivering an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the company’s values of respect, teamwork, and outstanding service. As one of the front-line team members interacting directly with guests, the bartender must embody kindness, courtesy, and deep industry knowledge. This position is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to specification while maintaining a neat, organized, and sanitary work environment. The bartender plays a crucial role in upholding Bally’s standards by adhering strictly to company policies, internal controls, and state alcohol laws. Customer service excellence, salesmanship, and efficient multitasking are key performance drivers for this role.
Bartenders at Bally's participate actively in departmental and company meetings to stay aligned with organizational goals and updates. They are expected to consistently smile, provide courteous service, and treat guests and coworkers with respect. A strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails is required to adequately serve and suggest drinks that enhance the guest experience. Bartenders must ensure all guests are verified as 21 years or older before serving any alcoholic beverages. Managing the point of sales system accurately while keeping a balanced cash drawer is part of the daily responsibilities, ensuring smooth operational flow. Beyond beverage service, bartenders are responsible for food service, guest seating, bussing, running food and drinks, and completing necessary side work to maintain high service standards during normal operations.
Safety and regulatory compliance are critical in this role. Bartenders must observe state and local liquor laws, promptly report safety hazards or equipment issues, and follow Bally's internal attendance policies. Effective communication skills are essential to build rapport with guests and foster a positive, engaging atmosphere. This position requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays, demonstrating commitment to the dynamic casino environment. Bally’s bartender role offers a supportive, inclusive work culture with opportunities to grow within a prestigious industry leader. The starting salary for this role is $11.50 per hour, reflecting an entry point with potential for career advancement in a thriving entertainment company. This is a unique chance to 'Bet on You' – join Bally's and become part of a globally recognized entertainment team passionately dedicated to unforgettable guest experiences.
