Job Requirements

  • high school diploma/GED
  • minimum 1 year bartender experience in a fast-paced environment
  • food handler certification
  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • basic mathematical skills
  • effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • ability to obtain and maintain an RV Servers Permit

Job Duties

  • participate regularly in departmental and company meetings
  • smile, provide exceptional customer service, and always treat guests and coworkers with respect
  • prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to specifications and serve them in an orderly and timely fashion
  • ensure guest is 21 or older before serving alcoholic beverages by accurately checking guest ID
  • have strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and mixed cocktails
  • properly operate the point of sales system and account for all service items by ringing them into the system and maintain a balanced cash drawer
  • uphold great communication with guests, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations
  • set and keep restaurant/bar, storage, and surrounding work area clean, stocked, organized, and safe
  • serve food and drink, greet and seat guests, buss, run food/drink, perform side work, and other normal service functions
  • comply with all rules, regulations and policies of the food and beverage department
  • follow company attendance policy and handbook rules
  • complete assignable work tasks from departmental leaders
  • abide by all state and local liquor laws
  • proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources
  • immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues
  • ensure customer service standards are met and retained
  • perform other duties as assigned
