Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- ServeSafe Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience bartending required
- food and beverage experience preferred but not required
- ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
- ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
- excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- knowledge of math for cost calculation, making change, and cash handling
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and unsupervised for extended periods
- good judgment when dealing with customers and peers

- able to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures
Job Duties
- warmly greet and acknowledge guests and take drink and food orders
- provide information about menu items and seek opportunities for additional sales
- prepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer, wines, and food with thorough knowledge of menu offerings
- check identification to verify legal drinking age
- maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar
- accurately process transactions through point-of-sale system
- follow alcohol awareness procedures and handle intoxicated guests
- perform opening and closing side work
- inventory beverages and order supplies as needed
- build guest loyalty and enhance selling skills through training
- maintain a clean and organized work environment free of safety hazards
- ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- support management decisions and collaborate in a team environment
- respond appropriately to customer concerns
