Job Description

Pyramid Global Hospitality is a renowned hospitality management company dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for both guests and employees. With a people-first approach, the company emphasizes fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where diversity, growth, development, and wellbeing are the primary focus. Pyramid Global Hospitality manages over 230 properties worldwide, offering a dynamic and collaborative workplace for hospitality professionals at all levels, whether just starting out or seasoned in their careers. The company’s commitment to its employees is reflected in its comprehensive benefits package, ongoing training programs, and a culture that values meaningful relationships and employee development.

Located within this impressive portfolio is the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, Texas. Proudly managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, this property is a hub of hospitality excellence where the spirit of Aggieland meets unparalleled Howdy Hospitality. Featuring 250 guest rooms, 23 flexible meeting rooms, and 35,000 square feet of event space, the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center caters to a diverse clientele including guests attending conferences, social events, and university-related activities.

The role of Bartender at this property is integral to maintaining the high standards of service for which Pyramid Global Hospitality is known. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a team that lives by the Aggie Path of P.R.I.D.E—Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence—core values that define the culture and character of the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center. Bartenders here are expected to bring positivity and professionalism every day, creating memorable guest experiences through expert drink preparation and attentive service.

Bartenders at this location craft cocktails, serve beer, wine, and other beverages, while also handling food orders as directed by guests. The role involves maintaining bar inventory, preparing daily orders, ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures, and keeping a clean and professional work area. Attention to detail and a deep knowledge of mixology, liquor, beer, and wine are essential skills. In addition to technical beverage knowledge, this position demands strong customer service skills and a pleasant, helpful demeanor to enhance the guest experience.

Employees at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center benefit from a robust offering including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans with company match and immediate vesting, access to wellness programs, employee discounts, tuition reimbursement, and more. The company also fosters continuous learning through extensive training programs tailored for hospitality and non-hospitality skill development. Working in this role requires flexibility, including availability to work during special events such as Texas A&M football games, graduations, and other high occupancy periods.

This role offers a competitive compensation package starting at $7 per hour plus tips, with a tip credit applied in line with federal and state regulations. Work schedules typically range from 30-40 hours per week for full-time employees and 8-29 hours per week for part-time positions. Shift hours are primarily from 3 PM to 1 AM, with weekend and varying day schedules depending on business needs.

Joining Pyramid Global Hospitality means becoming part of a company that not only values its employees but also actively supports their career growth and wellbeing. If you are a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering excellence in service and thrives in a team-oriented environment, this bartender opportunity at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center represents a rewarding career path within a globally respected hospitality management firm.
