This commitment begins with fostering employee well-being, providing opportunities for personal growth, and encouraging professional development. The company cultivates empathy not just as a value but as a way of life, ensuring that every team member thrives in a supportive culture focused on collaboration and respect.
The role of Bartender at Hyatt is an exciting opportunity for energetic and personable individuals who love engaging with guests to create memorable experiences. The bartender will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by preparing beverages, offering customized drink recommendations, and supporting effective outlet operations daily. This position is suited for individuals passionate about mixology and hospitality, who can maintain a friendly, welcoming disposition even in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
Bartenders at Hyatt are expected to be knowledgeable about the latest mixology trends, understand bar equipment, and comply with state and local alcohol serving regulations. Maintaining cleanliness and an attractive bar presentation is essential, alongside building rapport with guests through casual conversation and personalized service. The role also demands physical stamina as it involves standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in scheduling, including availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays, often with opportunities to earn overtime and additional pay through tips, commissions, and incentive awards.
Hyatt offers competitive wages starting at $14.35 an hour plus tips, along with comprehensive benefits after just 30 days of employment. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as employee perks like discounted room nights, friends and family rates at Hyatt properties, food and beverage discounts, and exclusive savings on technology and wellness apps. Employees also enjoy paid time off, including parental leave, retirement support with 401(k) matching and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, robust training programs for career growth, and complimentary meals. Hyatt’s culture emphasizes work-life balance and fosters an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow their expertise in hospitality.
Joining Hyatt as a Bartender means becoming part of a dedicated team that prioritizes care, empathy, and excellence. If you thrive in a dynamic setting where your passion for hospitality can shine through, this role offers both the chance to build your bartending skills and to contribute to a renowned company redefining the hotel industry through compassion and innovation. Hyatt welcomes candidates who are motivated to exceed guest expectations and eager to advance their careers within a thriving global hospitality brand.
