Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Greets guests, takes beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests
- Mixes drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards
- Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Collects payment for drinks served and follows all cash handling procedures
- Works with Bar Manager to ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepares inventory or purchase orders as needed to replenish supplies
- Serves snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
- Maintains a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping bar area, glass doors, and windows, etc., as needed
- Provide guidance to guests on Cleveland Metroparks activities and other regional information
- Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns
- Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responds to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel
