Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
Must be of legal drinking age
Ability to stand for extended periods
Good physical stamina
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of standard beverage recipes
Ability to maintain cleanliness and order in a bar area
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Awareness of responsible alcohol service practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner
Receive and prepare beverage orders from food servers, cocktail servers
Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as "comped" beverages
Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes
Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top
Maintain and replenish ice supply
Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank
Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person

Be aware of intoxicated guests
stay current on care training
Other reasonable duties as assigned
