Job Requirements

  • experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • knowledge of drink preparation
  • previous bartender experience preferred
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
  • always provide friendly service with a smile
  • flexible schedule availability including days, nights, holidays, weekends
  • punctuality in clocking in/out for shifts and breaks
  • provide sufficient notice when calling out
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to walk long distances
  • ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
  • ability to lift and carry certain supplies
  • read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines

  • flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel
  • must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed by immediate manager
  • must clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on the schedule
  • must provide sufficient notice as directed by supervisor when calling out for scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • greet guests and give a clear and correct description of food and beverage options
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar area
  • stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce
  • maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables
  • mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice portion control
  • attend monthly departmental meetings
  • input orders into computer and secure accurate payment
  • receive cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed
  • lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank at end of shift as needed
  • sanitize and clean in and around the bar area
  • complete daily inventory prep sheet and other side work allowable by labor rules
  • knowledge and familiarity of current food and beverage offerings
  • ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
  • assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
  • demonstrate knowledge of hours and available amenities of the hotel
  • work effectively and efficiently with the service and kitchen teams
