Job Requirements
- experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- knowledge of drink preparation
- previous bartender experience preferred
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- always provide friendly service with a smile
- flexible schedule availability including days, nights, holidays, weekends
- punctuality in clocking in/out for shifts and breaks
- provide sufficient notice when calling out
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to walk long distances
- ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
- ability to lift and carry certain supplies
- read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications

- flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel
- must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed by immediate manager
- must clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on the schedule
- must provide sufficient notice as directed by supervisor when calling out for scheduled shift
Job Duties
- greet guests and give a clear and correct description of food and beverage options
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar area
- stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce
- maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables
- mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice portion control
- attend monthly departmental meetings
- input orders into computer and secure accurate payment
- receive cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed
- lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank at end of shift as needed
- sanitize and clean in and around the bar area
- complete daily inventory prep sheet and other side work allowable by labor rules
- knowledge and familiarity of current food and beverage offerings
- ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
- assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
- demonstrate knowledge of hours and available amenities of the hotel
- work effectively and efficiently with the service and kitchen teams
