The Bartender position at HGI Orlando at Seaworld is a pivotal role responsible for delivering customized beverage services to guests in the hotel’s restaurant and bar areas. The bartender is entrusted with greeting guests warmly, accurately describing menu options, and maintaining a well-organized bar area. Job Requirements
- Experience in hospitality or related field preferred
- Knowledge of drink preparation preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

- Arrive and clock in on time for every shift
- Clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Provide sufficient notice when calling out

Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, service, or consumer-facing field preferred
- Previous bartender experience and knowledge of drink preparation preferred

- Flexibility with work schedule including holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain clean and well-organized workspaces
- Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
- Attend monthly departmental meetings
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup
- Stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, and perishables
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes
- Input orders into POS and secure accurate payment
- Receive and handle cash transactions accurately
- Lock up and store beverages and equipment securely
- Sanitize and clean the bar area daily
- Complete daily inventory prep and side work
- Promote and document food and beverage orders
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
- Work effectively with service and kitchen teams
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
- Always wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
