Job Description
Our establishment is a distinguished hospitality venue dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, impeccable service standards, and a welcoming atmosphere that ensures every patron feels valued and comfortable. Whether hosting intimate dinners or large-scale events, our team works cohesively to uphold the quality and reputation we have built. Situated in a vibrant community, our venue offers a diverse menu and a range of beverage options to complement each meal, supported by a staff passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction.
The role we are filling is that of a Server/Side Station Attendant, a critical position that supports the frontline dining experience. In this role, the individual will be responsible for setting up side stations to ensure smooth operation during service hours and performing assigned side work to maintain efficiency. The Server provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating, creating a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive. They will assemble food on trays by procuring items from each station as necessary and serve meals by placing dishes by courses in front of each person with professionalism and care.
Additionally, the Server is tasked with following up to ensure member and guest satisfaction by checking back at intervals, replenishing water and butter as needed. Maintaining cleanliness is essential; the Server removes soiled dishes promptly, keeps tables, the dining room, and bus station areas orderly. The role extends to serving dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks with attentiveness and a friendly demeanor. Handling any guest complaints or concerns immediately by communicating with supervisory staff is an important part of ensuring a high level of service.
Closing duties and clean-up operations fall under the Server's responsibilities as well, structured according to management direction. Pre-meal meetings are attended as requested to stay aligned with team goals and daily specifics. The Server also assists with event setups and take-downs according to detailed instructions to facilitate seamless dining or event experiences.
This position requires a dedicated individual capable of working in a kitchen environment that may experience temperature extremes such as heat and humidity over extended periods. Physical stamina is necessary to perform tasks that include sitting, standing, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds for up to 10 hours a day. Being at least 21 years of age and having prior certification in full-service bartending such as TIPS is essential before starting the role. We value energetic candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented, and deliver exceptional service with a positive attitude. This employment opportunity offers a chance to be a key contributor to a premier hospitality team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
